Elders & Deacons

David Burks

Elder

David is the primary preaching elder at Great Plains. He was sent out by Meridian Church to plant Great Plains Reformed in February 2020 after serving as an elder there for over two years.
He has a BS in Biblical and Theological Studies, which he earned at Liberty University.
David and Tracy have been married for more than three decades, they have four grown children and ten grandchildren.
When he is not in his office working on a sermon, or studying the Word for fun, he can be found working alongside of Tracy on their goat farm, or building something... anything around their house or for the church.
His favorite activity is spending time with Tracy. It doesn't matter what they are doing.

Clayton Carlisle

Elder

Clayton was born and raised in Woodward Oklahoma.
That is where he met and married his high school sweetheart, Christie.
They are the parents of two fine young men and one daughter-in-law. Caleb and wife, Karissa Carlisle and Grady Carlisle.

He currently lives in Altus, Oklahoma, where he is a local business owner. He enjoys woodworking, fishing, shooting sports, smoking a pipe and fine cigars, reading and tinkering.

Kevin Collins

Elder

I was born in Charleston West Virginia and moved to Lawton Oklahoma when I was twelve. I met my best friend when I was 19 and married her. Kathy and I have been blessed by the Lord with 2 children, Sierra and Noah; a wonderful son-in-law Pardner and a grandson, Seth. In 2020, the Lord led our family to GPRBC and we love serving the body here. When I have spare time, I love to spend it with my family and to go fishing.

John Hargrave

Elder

John grew up in large family in a small town located in Missouri. After graduating from college, he joined the Air Force and set off on a series of adventures, one of which was meeting his wife Raeshelle. The Lord, in His providence moved them, to Altus Air Force Base in 2021, which is when they began attending what was then Altus Reformed Baptist Church.  The Lord has since then transitioned him from active duty to being a full-time reservist in the Untied States Air Force and he and Raeshelle have increased their family to include 2 sons and 1 daughter. They joined  GPRBC in 2021 and faithfully served the church with John being called to be an elder in December of 2025. Most of his spare time is spent with his family, raising his children. He also enjoys hiking, camping, reading and music.
